MMS Part 2

 The difference between a sign and a symbol is that a sign is the meaning of a work and a symbol id a thing that represents or stands for something.

The elements are symbol, referent, and me(us).

A word is can be both.

A sign i've seen is sadness which would mean that a person is sad.

A symbol i've seen is a stop sign. Which means that the car should stop. I knew what it meant because people have thought us what it meant and also the car in front of me stopped because of the stop sign.
