 I wouldn't have chosen this story but I happy that I got to read it because it was really interesting. I understood the story more when I heard it because I didn't understand it when I read it by myself. Even though Dr. Preston told us to read it enjoyed it. 

The story seemed so creepy. Everyone was just watching tv and the guy was the only one walking at night which seemed odd to the police. Its weird that they took him to a Psychiatric Center for Research on Regressive Tendencies for walking.

 Something that jumped out from the poem was when he said "Till humans voices wake us, and we drown" in the last part. The feeling that the author is going to do another part of this poem. Its probably called "Love Song" because that was the first thing that popped out when he was writing it. It didn't really affect my mood. 

Reading is supposed to be fun, but sometimes reading for school is a challenge. Here are four ways we can have more fun reading and do it better at the same time read a book you love, seek to better understand the book you don't love, reconsider how you define the word read, and lastly stop looking for the answers on the page and start developing the expertise and the confidence that will enable you to find them in yourselves. When you read a book you love/like you're most likely to enjoy the reading than if you where forced to read a book you don't want to read. 

10/6  We meet people by talking to them and knowing them and  knowing them. We build the a relationship by talking about each other and going out. We can meet at a party, school, sport, and social media. Yes i've made so many knew friends during this pandemic. I've made by meeting them through friends and also online. 10/8 Jasmine was a a sweet girl who cared about everyone. She always asked them how their day was going and it if it wasn't to good she would always try to make it better. Everyone who met her was always happy around her. She loved helping other and always put others first. Where going to miss her very much. 9/28 Something that I did over the weekend that made my day better was helping my dad cook. We had a fun day because I usually don't spent much time with him.

 I chose those "The Night Fire" because it seemed interesting and I love a good mystery. I've never read from this author but so far its good.  

 The difference between a sign and a symbol is that a sign is the meaning of a work and a symbol id a thing that represents or stands for something. The elements are symbol, referent, and me(us). A word is can be both. A sign i've seen is sadness which would mean that a person is sad. A symbol i've seen is a stop sign. Which means that the car should stop. I knew what it meant because people have thought us what it meant and also the car in front of me stopped because of the stop sign.

9/25 Its worth taking your time and knowing yourself because no one else will know you better than yourself. Also know your friends better because they can say their your friends but in reality they might be using you are they can be waiting for the right time to get back at you. Not all friends are going to be like that but there are going to be some that are.

 9/30 In my history class were learning about slavery. It's crazy to think that slaves didn't know they were free after two years later. Without amendment 13, 14 and 15 they wouldn't have been free. After they were free the US government promised to give them 40 acer and a mule. They got there 40 acers and mule but then later were told they had to give the land back  the owners but they could stay there and work for them. 

 9/29 I didn't watch tonight's debate but i heard some things about it. In my opinion it was pretty childish and the president was being disrespectful to Biden. Biden is more sincere with other people and his family as well while the president is more cold hearted with everyone including his own family. I wouldn't choose any of them to be the next president but I surely don't want Trump to win again.

 He probably wrote Young Goodman Brown to show that your mind can play games or that you cant always trust the people you think you know the best. He was probably so affected by the story because he wonders if he can trust his people know. Our imagination can play tricks on us and we might not know the people we think we know.

 What challenged me during the first progress repot is that i had to do a lot of work that I hadn't done. Something I learned in my zoom meeting is how to publish my handwritten work on my blog. I will for sure do my work every week because you'll be updating aries every week and because i need good grades this semester.

 I prefer hearing the story that reading it because while I  was reading it I didn't understand a lot of the words and it didn't make a lot of sense and while i was hearing it the story made more sense.

1.     1)    What do you think Hawthorne's purpose was for writing this story?  That not all people are good people. 2.     2)    Hawthorne states that Brown's wife is "aptly named" Faith.   After reading the story, do you agree?   Does Faith's name fit her personality?   Does Brown have true faith in her?  At first her name did fir her personality but at the end I changed my mind about that. At first he did but know he doesn't know what to think of her. 3.      3)  What do you think the pink ribbons signify?  I think it means something good like good luck. 4.       4)  Was everything Brown witnessed real, a figment of his imagination, something conjured by evil, or a dream?   Support your answer with passages from the text.  I think it was something conjured by the evil because he wanted to go explore but something didn't seem right to him. Then he sees a person in the middle of the woods and hears Faith screaming. Also he transported to the

 Something I wish teachers would do is probably stop leaving as much work as they are leaving  right know because we also have other classes we have to do work for and because we have other things to do when where not in school. Also if teachers where to teach us things that we are actually going o use in life like how to invest our money or how to build up our credit instead of teaching us how to do art or geometry. We will most likely never use geometry in our life or art unless your going to be an art major.
