THE MOVIE AND THE BOOK

The movie was nothing like I pictured because it was quite different from the book. Clarisse was way older in the movie and in the book she was 17 years old. Also Montag's wife was overdosed in the book and in the movie she wasn't and she was watching a show.

12/16 The way I keep my phone and computer secured is by putting a password. A away to keep them from stealing my identity is not telling anyone my social security number and hiding any important thing.   12/17 This week has been very stressful let me say. We had finals and they where hard especially my math one. The reason why it was hard it was because I dint have enough time to study and the questions where confusing. Some stuff I don't remember going over during class. 12/18 Yesterday in my history class we where talking about collage and what we needed to graduate and also about scholarships. The next day my teacher told the counselors to come to class so they can talk about it a bit more. During the brake I'm going to try to apply to some scholarships.

12/7 People resort tp this type of violence people because don't listen no more and like they say actions speak louder than words. People feel like the only way they will listen to them is buy doing something horrific. But when though people still do all that violence they still don't listen and that's when it gets worse. 12/9 If I had the chance to interview someone it would have to be Selena Quintanilla. I choose her because I recently saw Selena The Series on Netflix and with the bits that showed how it all started. I would ask her if she could change anything she ever did and if she could change it would she.  12/11 A moment that I remember clearly and that most of my family doesn't is when I was smaller me my sister and some cousins went into my uncles room and there was a lighter. So we got it and started playing around with and shortly my sisters hear caught on fire. We didn't know what to do but she reacted quickly and ran to the bathroom leaving a trail of

FINAL REFLECTION FOR WORLD LITERATURE 2020-2021

This semester was unlike any other course I've taken. This pandemic has impacted our lives. Many people have died from covid but also many of them have made it through. With this said this year has been one of the strangest yet.     What made this course different from any other course I've taken is from the beginning we made a blog and got to publish anything we wanted on it because it was our blog. We got to express ourselves through our blogs and that's something I like about Dr. Preston's class.  A lot of this have changed this year but English 3 with Dr. Preston was defiantly thing.      What I found most meaningful was that Dr. Preston always did his best so that everyone in class could succeed and pass his class. Also I'm most proud of doing my journals everyday post constantly on my blog.  Another things if Dr. Preston made us right journals everyday i wouldn't be writing as much as I'm doing right now.       Something that I wish I could'v

11/30  One story I can apply is Fahrenheit 451 where people are being controlled/manipulated and are always on the internet and cold hearted. People are so mean don't care about anybody else besides themselves. Bradbury wrote how people will stop reading books eventually and not know anything our countries history because the government will hide everything.  12/1  What influences me is my  relationship with myself because only I can make myself be better and succeed. Yes other can also influence you to do better but there intentions will not always be good. They will want to see you failure because they cant succeed. 12/2 My hero is my mom. My mom is my hero because she always put us before anything and always tired to give all the best she could to me and my sisters. She inspires me to do the best in everything because I want to give back as much I can to her for everything she's done.

Fahrenheit 451 Essay

The book Fahrenheit 451 is about a society where you not allowed to read books and the firefighters are the ones who burn the book. The way the author writes about the people lives in that society is so cold and depressing. Montag meets a girl named Clarisse one day on his way home and he was so intrigued by how different she was from the other people.      Authorities where a big part of the book they had so much power over anyone. The authorities control the people by intermediating them and making them fear them. The Government mainly controls them by burning any type of information that comes from book and magazines. Anyone who got caught reading or hiding  book where going to be punished and also the fire fighters where going to burn everything in the home.     Clarisse comes into Montag's life and makes him realize that he's been living a miserable life. Montage began to question if books where really that bad. She teaches Montage that everyone had feelings and to a

LITERATURE ANALYSIS #1

John Jacks widow handed Bosch a murder book at the funeral. Bosch bring the book to Renee to see if she should help him. Bosch and Renee got really close and they started to think that if John stole the case to hide it. The theme of the book was finding out who the murder was. I think the authors morning routine is he gets up and drinks a cup of coffee while reading the news paper then he probably eats some eggs with fruit and a piece of toast. He probably does a lot of exercising. He uses these 5 literally techniques foreshadowing, frame story, metaphor, tone and flashback. The author used tone by he descried or put punctuations while the characters where talking. Foreshadowing was used because when they where at the murder scene when the guy was lit on fire John walked away to tell the littler girl and the women they shouldn't be there. Frame story was also used for example Bosch was telling Renee about his relation ship with John.
